1Department Basics
The basic identity of your fire department. Your Department ID will be used internally and cannot be changed later.
As it should appear in the app's header and on reports.
Used internally β letters, numbers, hyphens only.
2Contact & Map Center
The map center is where the hydrant map opens by default. The alert email receives equipment-return notifications.
The chief or officer responsible for this account.
For equipment alerts. Leave blank to use admin email.
Fire Red
Used for buttons and accents in the app.
Tip: search your address on Google Maps, right-click the pin, the first number that appears is latitude.
Negative for North America (e.g. -73.796).
3Apparatus Roster
List all your in-service apparatus that responds to incidents. These will appear on the unit tracker board. You can add or remove later.
When the chief presses one of these buttons, the listed units will be added to the active incident automatically. Leave any tier disabled if your dept doesn't use it.
5Safety Officer β Neighboring Departments
When acting as a Safety Officer at a neighboring dept's incident, list the depts your safety officer would be assisting. Their full apparatus rosters can be entered later from the app.

6Features Selection
Choose which features your department wants enabled. Click YES or NO for each. Features marked Paid are part of the upgraded plan.
7Initial Users
List the chiefs, officers, and members who should have access. We'll create their accounts and email them their login info.

Commander: full access to start incidents, assign units, edit settings. Viewer: can see incidents but cannot modify.
8Attestation & Signature
Confirm the information above is accurate and you are authorized to set up Chief's Aide for your department.
